Torino will hope to make it three Serie A wins in succession in the same season for the first time in seven years when they host a stuttering Monza side who remain in poor form on their travels.

Match News and Current Form

After winning just one of their opening five Serie A matches this season (D1, L3), Torino have found form, winning back-to-back matches to begin this matchday sat firmly in mid-table. A 3-0 victory away to Parma last time out served as their biggest league win since March and took them to ten points, a tally they’ve bettered at this stage only once since 2017/18. Building on that will be a challenge if Torino can’t sort out their defence, as they’ve failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last eight home league fixtures, their longest such run since a ten-match streak which ended in May 2017.

Monza secured just their second win since returning to the top-flight on Monday, thrashing Cagliari 4-0 to ease their early relegation fears. The Biancorossi sit three points clear of the drop zone and now go in search of successive Serie A wins for the first time since March 2024, though their uninspiring away form could prove an obstacle in that regard. Monza have failed to win any of their four league games on the road this season (D1, L3), forming part of a dreadful run of 14 losses in their last 16 top-flight trips (W1, D1) across their last two campaigns in the division.

Head-to-Head History

Torino are unbeaten in their six Serie A H2Hs against Monza (W3, D3), only facing two sides more often in the competition without losing.

Betting Analysis

Given Monza’s H2H struggles, backing Torino to win and keep a clean sheet here appears to make sense.
