Wolves v Brighton (05/10/2025)

Wolves’ wait for a Premier League win this season continues as they prepare to host Brighton, who have enjoyed their recent visits to Molineux.

Match News and Current Form

Vítor Pereira's men have endured a torrid start to the campaign which leaves them slumped at the foot of the table with a measly haul of one point from their opening six games. That point came last Saturday in a creditable 1-1 draw at Tottenham, who denied them victory when getting an equaliser in second-half stoppage time. A return home likely won't provide much comfort for Wolves, who have lost their first three Premier League matches on their own patch so far this term - they could now become the first team in English top-flight history to lose their first four at home in successive seasons!

Brighton head to the West Midlands in buoyant fashion after recovering from a goal down to win 3-1 at Chelsea last weekend, a result which leaves them with only one defeat from their last six games in all competitions (W4, D1). It was the second time already this season that the Seagulls had come from behind to secure victory, with their six points won from losing positions more than any other side in the Premier League in 2025/26 ahead of the weekend - a record which is hardly sustainable if they want to challenge for European qualification this term.

Head-to-Head History

Wolves have won just two of their last 16 league H2Hs (D6, L8) and are winless in the last seven (D2, L5). Molineux has become a very happy hunting ground for Brighton, who have emerged victorious in each of their last four top-flight visits.

Wolves appear to have no fresh injury concerns heading into this game, while Brighton will remain without Adam Webster, Jack Hinshelwood and Solly March.

Betting Analysis

Given the Seagulls’ impressive recent record at Wolves, coupled with their tendency to concede, it might be worth backing Brighton to win and more than 2.5 total goals.
