After Rasmus Gemke on Wednesday lost against Moh. Zaki Ubaidillah, Anders Antonsen on Thursday avenged his countryman when he defeated the young Indonesian talent in the second round of the BWF Super 750 tournament, Japan Open.

In the Super 750 Japan Open tournament, Anders Antonsen defeated Moh. Zaki Ubaidillah in the Round of 16.

The 19-year-old Indonesian had eliminated Rasmus Gemke on Wednesday after a tight three-set match but was unable to put the same kind of pressure on Antonsen in Thursday's encounter.

The player from Aarhus won 21-12, 21-19 and will now face either Nhat Nguyen or Koki Watanabe in the quarter-finals.

Chances are you’re about to lose.
