Raducanu recently had to withdraw from this week's WTA event in Romania with a wrist problem.
She has now been chosen to lead Great Britain's team in next month's Billie Jean King Cup Finals in Glasgow.
Harriet Dart, Heather Watson and Katie Boulter have also been named in the full team; a fifth player will be selected by captain Anne Keothavong in the coming weeks.
The tournament will get under-way on November 8th, with Great Britain set to take on Kazakhstan and Spain in the group stage.
