Vladar, 28, was a star for the Flyers during their recent postseason run, putting up four wins with a 2.18 goals against average and .922 save percentage, including two shutouts.
He finished the regular season with a career-high 29 wins, 2.42 GAA (career best), and .906 save percentage (tied career-best).
One of Vladar's shutouts this postseason came from 42 saves in a series-clinching win against long-standing rivals, the Pittsburgh Penguins, and the other was a 27-save shutout, also against the Penguins, in Game 2.
Vladar will be entering his seventh season in the NHL after a brief rookie stint in Boston and four years in Calgary.
The Flyers are coming off their best season in seven years, ultimately getting swept by the eventual Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes during the second round.
They're coming off a draft in which they took three defensemen, two goalies (both from the Czech Republic, just like Vladar), and a center (details here).
