Sancho, 25, is a prominent member of Man United’s ‘bomb squad’ with the club pushing the winger to leave this summer.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Italian side Roma are now looking like the most likely destination for the winger.
The club have lodged an ‘official’ offer for Sancho consisting of an initial loan with an obligation to buy next summer for £20 million.
Sancho’s contract with United is set to expire at the end of the coming season but United have an option to extent it for a further 12 months.
