Kaizer Chiefs will face either Zambian side Red Arrows or FC Rouge of Madagascar in the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Chiefs have been handed a bye in the first preliminary round of the continental competition, but will then face a tough tie for a place in the group stages against either Red Arrows or FC Rouge.

The Malagasy side may be the more favourable opponent, but neither will be an easy prospect as Chiefs look to improve on their group-stage finish last season.

Meanwhile, Durban City take on Rukinzo FC from Burundi in the first preliminary round. Should they advance, they will meet the winner of the tie between AS Port Louis of Mauritius and Jwaneng Galaxy of Botswana for a place in the group stages.

Chances are you’re about to lose.
