The Las Vegas Raiders don't think second-year running back Ashton Jeanty will miss significant time after suffering a sprained ankle, according to reports.

Jeanty, 22, left practice on Sunday after landing awkwardly while trying to make a catch. Teammates took a knee for Jeanty, who was helped off the field by trainers after not being able to put weight on his knee.

The Jacksonville native is in his second year after the team drafted him with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. As a rookie, Jeanty put up 1,321 total yards (975 rushing on 3.7 yards per carry) and 10 total touchdowns (five rushing).

Rookie Mike Washington Jr. is next up on the Raiders depth chart, while three-year back Dylan Laube and nine-year veteran Dare Ogunbowale are behind him.

Las Vegas kick off their 2026 regular season on September 13th against the Miami Dolphins.
