Macarthur FC's dominant home win over the Phoenix has seen nearly half of their starting lineup recognised in our Team of the Week.

Here are the eleven top performers (by position) from Round 26 of the A-League, according to Flashscore's in-house player rating system.

GK: Jack Warshawsky - Melbourne Victory (8.4)

Warshawsky earned praise from both managers for keeping the Victory in front with a couple of cracking saves, finishing up with five and a clean sheet win.

LB: Callum Talbot - Macarthur FC (7.8)

This no-nonsense left back continues to feature regularly in this section and is in the running alongside Sydney FC's Ben Garuccio to fill this position in the Team of the Season.

He played another excellent passing game with 85% accuracy, landing 14 of his 15 passes in the final third as well as three crosses.

CB: Matt Jurman - Macarthur FC (7.3)

36-year-old Jurman got a rare start alongside his former partner-in-crime Damien Da Silva and, in his first A-League match since January 18, scored his first goal in more than 1,000 days.

That was alongside four duels won and a passing accuracy of 85%.

CB: Roderick Miranda - Melbourne Victory (7.4)

The Victory captain recorded his second-best Flashscore rating of the calendar year by contributing to the clean sheet with four clearances, a 100% win rate for individual duels, and a second-game best of 51 accurate passes.

RB: Joel Bertolissio - Newcastle Jets (8.0)

The 22-year-old posted the best Flashscore player rating of his A-League career, cracking eight for the first time as the Jets thrashed their F3 rivals.

Bertolissio was second only to teammate Eli Adams on the pitch (see more below...) after touching the ball 87 times, winning six out of ten duels and a game-high four out of five tackles.

That was in addition to 13 accurate passes in the final third and creating one 'big chance' for the Jets.

LM: Dean Bosnjak - Macarthur FC (8.4)

The 19-year-old put the Bulls 2-0 up inside 25 minutes with one of his four shots against the Phoenix.

He touched the ball more times in the opposition box (ten) than any other player and passed with 100% accuracy, connecting 23 in total including 15 in the final third.

CM: Luke Brattan - Macarthur FC (9.2*)

A very busy Luke Brattan recorded a game-high 66 accurate passes (94% accuracy) including 33 in the final third (also 94%), drawing four fouls and taking four shots.

Two of his shots landed on target, including the Bulls' third goal of the match.

CM: Lachlan Bayliss - Newcastle Jets (7.7)

Bayliss posted a 7.7 despite being booked thanks to assisting the Jets' fourth goal against the Mariners, having taken three shots and registering more accurate passes in the final third (21) than anyone else in the match.

RM: Ryan White - Adelaide United (8.2)

Two starts after scoring an equaliser against the new Premiers Newcastle, 21-year-old White assisted Luka Jovanovic's 98th-minute match-winning goal.

White also made more accurate passes in the final third (15) than anyone else in the match.

FW: Seb Despotovski - Perth Glory (7.4)

Despotovski was the Player of the Match for his worldie in the 2-1 win over Brisbane Roar.

Adelaide sub Luka Jovanovic would have certainly made an appearance ahead of Despotovski were it not for his brain fade that had him sent off. Our algorithm severely punishes red cards irrespective of the circumstances when it comes to player ratings, which explains his absence.

FW: Eli Adams - Newcastle Jets (8.9)

We say this time and time again, but enjoy Eli Adams while it lasts.

He was already attracting great interest from the UK and Europe 12 months ago and it's fortunate for the Jets that he has another 12 months left on his contract, for his price tag continues to grow with his highlights reel.
