GK: Ronald Koeman Jr. (Telstar) - 7.2

Ronald Koeman played an instrumental part in Telstar securing another year of Eredivisie football. He even took care of the exclamation mark on their brilliant season when he scored an 89th-minute winner from the spot in a last-round relegation fight between FC Volendam and Telstar.

Between the sticks, Koeman recorded 113 saves and a save percentage of 73.8%, while facing the fourth-most shots on target (194) in the league.

Runners-up: Stijn van Gassel (7.2), Matthijs Branderhorst (7.1), Kayne van Oevelen (7.1), Gonzalo Crettaz (7.1)

LB: Souffian El Karouani (FC Utrecht) - 7.5

FC Utrecht's assist king, Souffian El Karouani, played a fantastic final season. Under the tutelage of set-piece coach Willem Janssen, El Karouani provided 12 assists in the Eredivisie, created a staggering 107 chances (1st), and completed 109 crosses, 47 more than the next best player.

It wasn't just from set pieces where El Karouani was dangerous: the Dutch-Moroccan star had 23 carries that ended in a created chance (6th) and 50 chances created from open play (7th). Defensively, El Karouani won possession 160 times (T-15th). The free agent will surely find a lovely destination.

Runners-up: Mauro Junior (7.4), Jeff Hardeveld (7.3), Jordan Bos (7.3)

CB: Jerdy Schouten (PSV) - 7.2

Described by some as PSV's Beckenbauer, captain Jerdy Schouten was fantastic after moving from midfield to defence. All in all, Schouten won possession 160 times and ranked high in passes completed per 90 minutes in both his own half (31, 12th) and the opposition's half (42, 2nd).

A role as a World Cup hero for Oranje will not be possible, as Schouten sadly tore his ACL in early April.

CB: Tsuyoshi Watanabe (Feyenoord) - 7.1

It was an up-and-down season for Feyenoord, but Tsuyoshi Watanabe was a constant. As Robin van Persie's reliable rock in the defence, Watanabe was strong in duels (61% win rate, 10th), dominant in the air (94 aerial duels won, 6th), and just 1 error leading to a shot all year.

Runners-up: Youri Baas (7.1), Mike van der Hoorn (7.0), Yarek Gasiorowski (7.0), Wouter Goes (7.0)

RB: Bart van Rooij (FC Twente) - 7.4

FC Twente played a fantastic season after a rough start, and right-back Bart van Rooij played a big part in that turnaround. The defender was unstoppable in his stride, quite literally, as he posted the second-highest speed of any Eredivisie defender this season with 34.1 kph.

Van Rooij ranked first in tackles among all players with 108, won possession 186 times (6th), and won 199 duels (4th).

Runners-up: Sergino Dest (7.2), Marco Rente (7.1)

CDM: Joris van Overeem (Heerenveen) - 7.3

Joris van Overeem was always a reliable squad player, but established himself as a top-quality defensive midfielder for Heerenveen this season. The 31-year-old led the league in possessions won (280) by an absolute country mile, with NEC's Kodai Sano's 212 the second-best.

Offensively, Van Overeem provided 9 assists and created 60 chances, while also completing 904 passes in the opposition's half (4th).

Runners-up: Ramiz Zerrouki (7.3), Darko Nejasmic (7.3), Kodai Sano (7.2), Stije Resink (7.2)

CM: Joey Veerman (PSV) - 8.1

Joey Veerman was the absolute star of the league. PSV's midfield general posted a career-high in goals (8) and provided a league-leading 14 assists.

Runners-up: Gjivai Zechiel (7.1), Kees Smit (7.0)

CAM: Ismael Saibari (PSV) - 7.7

Ismael Saibari has officially outgrown the Eredivisie. The Belgian-Moroccan midfielder was terrific for PSV, scoring 15 goals and providing 8 assists in 27 Eredivisie games.

The 25-year-old also recorded 33 carries that ended with a created chance (3rd), had 37 shots on goal (7th), and completed 48 dribbles (T-8th) on a 53% completion percentage (8th among players with 50+ attempted dribbles). It'll be a miracle if Saibari's still playing for PSV after the summer.

Runners-up: Sven Mijnans (7.3), Guus Til (7.2), Tjaronn Chery (7.2)

LW: Mika Godts (Ajax) - 7.8

The runner-up in this year's Flashscore Player of the Season contest, Mika Godts, had his breakout season with Ajax. The Belgian maverick was the league MVP with 17 goals and 13 assists and the sole bright spot in an otherwise dire Ajax season.

In total, Godts completed 87 dribbles (1st), 209 touches in the opposition's box (2nd), creating 87 chances (3rd), and finishing 60% of his big chances (12/20, 4th among players with 10+ big chances).

Runners-up: Ivan Perisic (7.4), Sondre Orjasaeter (7.2), Başar Önal (7.1)

ST: Ayase Ueda (Feyenoord) - 7.3

This year's Golden Boot was resoundingly won by Feyenoord ace Ayase Ueda, who we'll see at the upcoming World Cup. Ueda scored 25 goals and had twice as many braces (6) as the next-best player, while being the only player with at least two hat-tricks and one 4-goal game.

Across the season, Ueda scored once every 101 minutes, leading Troy Parrott (137) and Ismael Saibari (143) by sizable margins. His biggest weapon might also just be his head, with which he scored 9 goals, three times as many as the next-best players.

Runners-up: Tobias Lauritsen (7.2), Troy Parrott (7.1)

RW: Anis Hadj Moussa (Feyenoord) - 7.6

Feyenoord fans will be very happy that Anis Hadj Moussa decided to stay in Rotterdam and not move to Benfica. The Algerian winger scored 11 goals and provided 6 assists as Feyenoord secured a spot in next season's UEFA Champions League.

Amid a season with many injuries, Hadj Moussa was a constant threat from the right, completing 77 dribbles (2nd), creating 70 chances (4th), and shooting on goal 32 times (12th).

Runners-up: Jacob Trenskow (7.3), Sami Ouaissa (7.1), Daan Rots (7.0)
