According to RMC Sport, Englishman Liam Rosenior is set to return to France to succeed Antoine Kombouare as the new head coach of Paris FC.

His time back in England was short-lived, but according to RMC Sport, Rosenior is expected to return to France soon. The former Strasbourg coach, who was let go by Chelsea last April, is set to take over from Kombouare at Paris FC.

"Of course, Paris FC has resources, but they don't seem willing to agree to everything, especially Antoine Kombouare's demands for more money. The talks have dragged on to the point that the management has grown tired, and it's over," said Daniel Riolo on l'After Foot.

"There were also discussions with Walid Regragui. There were two or three meetings, but apparently Rosenior is the one they've chosen," he added.

Having arrived at Paris FC at the end of February 2026, Kombouare helped the club secure a mid-table finish. And just a few days ago, he insisted he would be "back for the restart" this Wednesday.

However, it seems the management has other plans for the start of the new season.
