Turkish international winger Aral Simsir wins Player of the Year award in Danish Superliga

Aral Simsir has won the Player of the Year award writes the 3F Superliga.

Aral Simsir has already won several awards this season, and now he is also taking home the biggest honor of them all. 

On Saturday afternoon, 3F Superligaen reported that the FC Midtjylland player has been named Player of the Year in the in Denmarks top football league. 

He won the award ahead of Franculino, Gift Links, Tobias Bech, Patrick Pentz, Tonni Adamsen, Thomas Jorgensen, and Caleb Yirenkyi, who were also nominated. 

The 23-year-old Simsir has scored nine goals during the season, while making 15 assists. 

If he gets another assist in Sunday's home game against Brondby IF, Simsir will claim the record. 

Simsir is under contract with the Wolves until the summer of 2029, but has repeatedly stated that he will probably leave the club this summer. 

Simsir has played a total of 144 matches for FC Midtjylland, scoring 26 goals and providing 40 assists.
