Norwegian international winger Antonio Nusa from RB Leipzig frustrated the Swedish defenders to such a degree in Monday's 3-1 win in Oslo that the Norwegian camp worried that the Swedes eventually would retaliate and potentially endanger the World Cup participation for the talented winger.

Antonia Nusa was in a class of his own when he ran the Swedish defenders ragged and scored for Norway when the hosts recorded a superb 3-1 win at Ullevaal stadium against Sweden to boost their morale before the journey towards their US camp on Tuesday.

But Nusa's one-man show against the Swedish rearguard caused concern in the Norwegian camp that Swedish defenders would retaliate against the high-flying Norwegian winger. Nusa said after the match that it was actually feared that he would get slaughtered by the frustrated opponents.

"I got a little scared. They told me to be a little careful. I have to take care in the next match", said Antonio Nusa, according to VG.

Norwegian national team coach Stale Solbakken felt "there was a big difference between the teams for a very long period in the game". Solbakken said he felt  "the hosts were a bit 'sloppy' and not very effective during the match. But I'm not going to complain", emphasized the national team coach.

Both teams still have one friendly left before their first game at the World Cup. The Swedes take on Greece on Thursday, while Norway will face Morocco on Sunday, ahead of their Group I meetings with Iraq, Senegal, and France.
