The second-round action continues at Roland Garros today, with Jannik Sinner, Aryna Sabalenka and Coco Gauff all looking to progress through the tournament.

16:08 CET - Sinner's defeat brings an end to his remarkable 30-match winning run on Tour, and blows open the rest of the men's draw, with two-time former champion Carlos Alcaraz also absent.

Can Novak Djokovic capitalise and claim a 25th Grand Slam title? Can two-time former finalist Casper Ruud secure a maiden major? Or will Alexander Zverev finally break his duck on the big stage?

15:47 CET - Red-hot favourite Jannik Sinner is out of the French Open after a shock five-set defeat to world number 56 Juan Manuel Cerundolo!

Having led 6-3, 6-2, 5-1 and cruising to a comfortable win, Sinner's body dramatically gave up on him in the searing Parisian heat, as Cerundolo won six straight games to snatch the third set.

The Argentine showed no signs of easing off against his ailing opponent, and was dominant in sets four and five, prevailing 3-6, 2-6, 7-5, 6-1, 6-1 to secure a maiden top-10 victory and the biggest scalp of his career.

As for Sinner, his hopes of completing a Career Grand Slam will have to wait after a damaging defeat.
