The Benfica centre-back, who has missed recent sessions due to injury, continued his recovery work apart from the group. He is expected to rejoin training only on Wednesday, so he will not be available for the match against the Uzbek team.

On the other hand, Ruben Dias completed the training session without any restrictions. After missing the first match, the Manchester City defender is now a strong candidate to start in the heart of the defence.

During the 15 minutes open to the media, the players performed their usual muscle activation exercises, both with and without the ball. The four goalkeepers trained separately, in a session marked by high temperatures.

The Portuguese delegation will travel later this Monday to Houston, the city hosting the match against Uzbekistan, scheduled for this Tuesday at 19:00 CET.
