Arsenal aim for a fifth straight league win as they host Hull, who come into their milestone 200th Premier League game having not won one since late August.

Match News and Current Form

Excellence at the back is underpinning Arsenal’s Premier League title defence as last Sunday’s 1-0 win over Liverpool - their first league win at Anfield since 2012 - was their third consecutive top-flight win without conceding, making them one of two teams to have kept six Premier League clean sheets this season. The Gunners ended the last matchday at the summit and three points clear of Manchester City, and hopes will be high of at least maintaining their advantage as they’re now on a run of seven consecutive home league victories, their longest sequence since 2022 (ten), and maintained momentum by beating Slavia Prague 2-1 in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.

Hull arrive in North London for their 200th Premier League game having made their joint-second best nine-game start to a Premier League campaign, yet will feel frustrated given they’re on a seven-match winless run in the top flight (D5, L2). Although the Tigers have made themselves hard to beat since promotion, Sergej Jakirović's side are without a league triumph on the road since matchday two (D1, L2). That run hardly fuels belief they can become the first promoted side to beat Arsenal in the Premier League since Nottingham Forest in May 2023, and nor will nosing ahead, as the last four times Hull led in the top-flight, they went on to draw.

Head-to-Head History

Arsenal are unbeaten against Hull since losing the first Premier League H2H in September 2008 (W12, D2) while they’ve kept clean sheets across the last three meetings they hosted (W2, D1).

Key Players to Watch and Missing Players

Declan Rice has five open-play Premier League assists this season, the most he’s ever recorded in one campaign, with three of the last four of those coming after the 55th minute. Oliver McBurnie became the first player to score a direct free-kick in the Premier League for Hull since December 2016 when doing so against Ipswich (D 2-2), while three of his last four goals came after the hour mark.

Max Dowman is suspended for Arsenal, while the same goes for Hull’s Matt Crooks.

Betting Analysis

Arsenal’s last three league games produced fewer than three goals, and Hull are yet to concede more than twice in the Premier League this term, so backing under 2.5 goals may be worth a look.
