The Toronto Maple Leafs cooled off a red-hot Edmonton Oilers team as they extended their winning streak to four. Meanwhile, Washington Capitals forward Alex Tuch scored a game-winner against his former team during Saturday's slate of action!

Maple Leafs 7-2 Oilers

The Toronto Maple Leafs became just the second team this season to hold the red-hot Oilers to two goals or fewer, both of those games ending in a loss.

Goaltender Anthony Stolarz made 30 saves, but it still didn't stop the Oilers' unreal first line from getting their goals in.

Both of Edmonton's goals came from Leon Draisaitl (12), with assists by Connor McDavid (25) and Evan Bouchard (14). All three lead the league in points (McDavid - 33, Draisaitl - 23, Bouchard - 21).

Maple Leafs record: 7-4-2 (W4)

Oilers record: 8-2-1 (L1)

Ducks 5-4 Flyers

Despite the Flyers scoring more than three goals and putting up more than 30 shots for the first time this season, it was the Ducks who came away with the win.

Philly's Tyson Foerster (2) put his team up 3-2 with a huge short-handed goal in the second. But the Ducks scored three straight to put the game out of reach as they ended their five-game losing streak.

Ducks record: 5-6-0 (W1)

Flyers record: 3-7-3 (L1)

Devils 3-1 Kings

The Devils held the Kings to just 13 shots on goal, three in the second period alone. That is the fewest the Kings' had in a single game this season, beating out their 20 SOG against the Florida Panthers on October 6th.

Scott Laughton put LA out in front with his second goal of the season before Anthony Mantha (3), Brett Pesce (1), and Arseny Gritsyuk (6-EN) scored one after the other to put the game out of reach.

Devils record: 7-4-0 (W3)

Kings record: 2-5-2 (L1)

Will Smith (4) cut the lead to one for the Sharks, but Will Borgen's (2) empty-netter sealed the deal.

Bruins record: 9-2-1 (W2)

Sharks record: 6-5-1 (L1)

Despite outshooting the Nashville Predators 37-26, the Pittsburgh Penguins barely squeezed by thanks to a 2-2 equalizer from Rickard Rakell (2) with 1:06 left in the third and the eventual OT winner from Ville Koivunen (2).

Nashville didn't get a single shot on goal during overtime. This marks their fourth overtime loss - the most of any team in the NHL so far this season.

It took him just less than two minutes into the final frame to put the Mammoth on top with his first career overtime goal.
