Danish champions AGF to face bitter rivals Brondby at home in the first game of new season

Danish Champions AGF will face Brondby at home in the first game of the new season which start on 24 July.

Danish champions AGF will host Brondby IF in the first round of the Danish Superliga next season. The match will be played in Aarhus on Saturday, 25 July, where the focus will center around former AGF captain Patrick Mortensen, who has just moved to Brondby.

Viborg and OB will face each other in the first game of the season, which will be played on Friday, 24 July.

On Sunday, 26 July, Sonderjyske will be visited by FC Midtjylland, after which Randers will meet Silkeborg, and AC Horsens will be visited by FC Nordsjælland later in the day.

FC Copenhagen will face Lyngby on Monday, 27 July at home in the first round.

The first major capital city derby between Brondby and FCK awaits in Round 9. For now, only the first seven rounds have been determined, as individual matches await UEFA draws.

The season will be divided into Championship and Relegation playoffs after Round 22, where AGF will play FC Midtjylland away.
