Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (30) expressed his frustrations with the team after their loss to the Jets on Sunday, potentially asking for a way off of the team.

After a game where Hill caught just two passes for 20 yards, the veteran receiver has simply had enough with Miami

“This is the first time I haven’t been in the playoffs,” said Hill. “For me, I have to do what’s best for me and my family if that’s here or wherever the case may be. I’m finna open that door for myself. I’m opening the door. I’m out. It was great playing here.”

Hill did not play the fourth quarter as it was speculated he left with an injury but that may not be the case entirely, according to head coach Mike McDaniel.

Hill's 939 receiving yards this season are the fewest since 2019 when he put up 860 yards. His six receiving touchdowns are also the lowest since his rookie season in which he put up the same amount.

This is also the first season in which Hill did not make the Pro Bowl after earning a spot in the first eight years of his career. Hill has also earned All-Pro honours the past two years, five times in his career, but will probably miss out on that as well after the season he had.

Hill also had a run-in with the law earlier this season after being handcuffed during a traffic stop.

Hill is currently on a three-year, $90 million deal with the Dolphins and is under contract for the 2025 season, but has an opt-out option for 2026. He has a $28.6 million cap hit for next season, according to Spotrac
