The New England Patriots hired Thomas Brown (38) as the team's new tight ends coach and passing game coordinator.
Brown stepped in as the Chicago Bears' interim offensive coordinator after the team fired Shane Waldron but was then promoted to interim head coach on November 29th after they fired Matt Eberflus.
Thomas went 1-4 as the interim head coach, with the lone win coming against the team's historic rival Green Bay Packers for the final game of their season.
He was previously the Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator (2023) and will now join Vrabel's new crew in New England as the organization looks to revive a new franchise around quarterback Drake Maye.
