The New England Patriots released defensive end Yannick Ngakoue (29) on Tuesday, according to NFL insider Adam Schefter.

Much like Ezekiel Elliott’s release from the Cowboys, Ngakoue, also a nine-year veteran, will look to go to a possible contending team that needs pass-rushing depth.

Ngakoue spent five games with the Baltimore Ravens this year and six with the Patriots, wracking up just 1.5 sacks and 14 tackles.

The former Pro Bowl defensive end has 70.5 sacks, 72 tackles for a loss, and 148 quarterback hits in 134 games across his career.

Unless the Ravens bring Ngakoue back to Charm City, the former 69th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft will be looking to join the eighth team of his career.

Chances are you’re about to lose.
