Former two-time All-Star Josh Harrison (37) officially announced his retirement from baseball on Saturday.

Harrison spent the majority of his career (eight seasons) with the Pittsburgh Pirates, two with the Washington Nationals, and one with the Chicago White Sox, Athletics, Philadelphia Phillies, and Detroit Tigers.

He finished his career with a solid .270 batting average on 1,080 hits, 73 home runs, and 388 RBI.

Harrison's best season came in 2014 when be batting .315 with a .837 OPS, 13 home runs, 52 RBI, and 18 stolen bases.

The Chicago Cubs originally drafted Harrison in the sixth round of the 2008 MLB Draft before trading him to the Pirates a year later, where he would make his big league debut in 2014.

He would go on to hit above .250 in seven of the eight years in Pittsburgh, with his sophomore season in 2015 being the only one he hit below it (.237).

Harrison finished his career with exactly 500 runs and came up just three at-bats short of 4,000.
