Giannis Antetokounmpo's Greece beat Lithuania 87-76 and will meet Turkey in the EuroBasket semi-finals.

Milwaukee Bucks star Antetokounmpo delivered and was the man of the match with 29 points, six rebounds and two assists, leading his team to the penultimate round.

But the 'Greek Freak' was not the only Antetokounmpo to stand out on the Arena Riga court: his brother Kostas strung together four blocks and three defensive rebounds to frustrate the Lithuanians, who led for the first six minutes of the game before gradually crumbling.

Runners-up in 2006 and European champions in 1987 and 2005, Greece are back in the semi-finals of a major competition for the first time since EuroBasket 2009, where they got bronze.

For Lithuania, the abilities of the experienced centre Jonas Valanciunas, whose NBA career is as long as his beard, were not enough despite him producing an excellent game (24 points, 15 rebounds).

The other two quarter-final clashes will be played on Wednesday: Finland vs Georgia is the clash of the underdogs that eliminated Serbia and France, and Germany vs Slovenia will see star Luka Doncic facing the reigning world champions.
