Golden State Warriors’ Quinten Post (24) has become the fifth Dutchman in NBA history to record a 20-point performance in the NBA during last night’s game against the Chicago Bulls.

Quinten Post recorded a total of 20 points against the Bulls, 15 of which were made from three-point distance. The Dutchman also recorded 5 rebounds and 3 assists in just 20 minutes of playing time in the 131-106 win for Golden State.

With this performance Post became the first Dutchman since Dan Gadzuric to record a 20-point game in the NBA. Gadzuric last accomplished this on April 13th of 2007 when he scored 21 points for the Milwaukee Bucks against the Boston Celtics.

Post has become the fifth Dutch player in NBA history to record a 20-point game after Gadzuric, Francisco Elson, Rik Smits, and Swen Nater.

The Dutch 7-foot center got drafted out of Boston College in the last NBA Draft, thus becoming only the eighth Dutch player in NBA history. Post made his NBA debut on December 27th in the Warriors’ game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

With starting center Draymond Green ruled with due to a calf injury, Post got some opportunities from Warriors coach Steve Kerr and showed promise with a 9-point game against Boston and a 5-point, 6-rebound performance against the Sacramento Kings.

Post is the second Dutch player to record minutes for an NBA team this season after Malevy Leons, who played for the Oklahoma City Thunder but got released by the team in November. Jesse Edwards, who got drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2024, is the only other Dutchman in the NBA.
