The Cincinnati Bengals signed safety Bryan Cook and linebacker Boye Mafe to three-year deals on Monday that combined for $100.25 million.

Cook, 26, will receive $40.25 million over three years. The safety played in all 34 games for the Chiefs the past two seasons. He finished the 2025 season with a career-high 85 tackles and six pass deflections, ranking sixth among 98 qualified safeties in pass coverage (83.2) and 15th in run defense (80.1).

Wide receivers averaged just 8.7 yards per reception against Cook last season - he allowed at least 13.0 in the previous three seasons. He has also committed just one penalty over the course of his entire NFL career.

Cook is a major addition for a Bengals secondary that ranked 31st last season.

Mafe, 27, is getting $60 million over his three-year contract. The linebacker also played in all 17 games (four starts) but for the Seattle Seahawks last season.

He posted a career-low in tackles (31) and sacks (2), along with five pass deflections.
