Brondby keerp Patrick Pentz feels its the right decision to suspend all away fans from the "New Firm" derbies between Brondby and FC Copenhagen who face each other in the Parken Stadium on Sunday.

The reason for the suspension is related to the recent derby, where a group of Brøndby fans ran along the pitch at Brondby Stadium to throw fireworks into the FC Copenhagen supporters section, forcing the police to intervene and stand across the field.

The decision to suspend the away-supporters from forthcoming derbies between the two clubs has been greatly discussed but Brondby-keeper Patrick Pentz completely agrees with the decision.

"It's the right decision. We (Brondby IF, ed.) should be punished for what we did at the last derby. You can't do what they did, so it's the right decision, but it's a shame and really bad that we have to do without our fans", says Pentz to TV2 Sport before the derby.

Pentz feels that Brondby will be greatly handicapped without their supporters.

"We will definitely feel it. Our fans have always been louder than them – even when they are at home."

"You may not hear it in the same way as me, standing on the pitch, but our fans have always been much louder than theirs", says Pentz, who denies that Brondby will feel the pressure from FC Copenhagen supporters on Sunday

"No, there is no pressure. They don't make that much noise, to be honest. I don't know who I can compare them to. But you should try to experience it on the pitch, because it is not the same as at Brondby Stadium", says Pentz.

The "New Firm" derby will be played on Sunday at 14.00 CET
