22:35 CET - Cody Gakpo has headed in from a corner to make it 2-0 for Liverpool against Real Madrid. It seems the Reds didn't need the penalty Salah missed but Mbappe will surely regret missing his... is there time for a comeback?

22:28 CET - Incredibly, there has been another penalty miss at Anfield! This time it's Mohamed Salah who has fired wide... unbelievable!

22:25 CET - Well, Lille didn't much like trailing Bologna, they are back in the lead (2-1) after Ngalayel Mukau's goal while 10-man Monaco are now leading Benfica 2-1.

22:22 CET - Elsewhere, goals are flying in. Dortmund are now leading Dinamo 2-0, Celtic are back on terms with Club Brugge (1-1) and Bologna are level with Lille (1-1). While Monaco are down to 10 men against Benfica.

22:55 CET - It is all over across the grounds and the big news is Feyenoord have drawn 3-3 with Manchester City after staging a stunning late comeback. Bayern weren't able to add to their lead despite PSG going down to 10 men but they did hold on to an important win as Luis Enrique's side continue to struggle without Kylian Mbappe in Europe.

Check out all the results here.

22:48 CET - OH MY WORD! I CAN'T SPEAK. Manchester City have let a 3-0 lead slip through their grasp! A moment of madness from the usually level-headed Ederson as he comes out to header the ball away but leaves too late and Gor Paixao slots the ball on a plate for David Hancko to score into an empty net. Champions League heritage. Nightmare for City.

22:42 CET - They couldn't, could they? Feyenoord have scored a second against City and suddenly it is game on in Manchester...

22:40 CET - Leandro Trossard has now given Arsenal their fifth goal today! It is almost like there is a competition going on to see who can score the most goals tonight. A few teams are on fire.

22:35 CET - Anis Hadj Moussa has pounced on a mistake at the back from City to give Feyenoord a goal back. 3-1.

22:31 CET - Bayer Leverkusen have been a bit hit or miss this season at times but my word have they been on it tonight! They now lead 5-0 to hand Salzburg even more humiliation.

22:25 CET - A goal that reminded me of prime Barcelona. After a patient passing move Dani Olmo upped the tempo by skipping past players before slotting the ball past the keeper. 2-0 Barcelona courtesy of a goal worthy of this great competition.

22:23 CET - Bukayo Saka has just scored from the spot for the Gunners who are also home and hosed.

22:23 CET - Bayer Leverkusen are now 4-0 up in Germany and surely out of sight.

22:20 CET - PSG are down to 10 men after Ousmane Dembele was seen a second yellow for a silly foul. Uphill task for the visitors now...

22:20 CET - Meanwhile high-flying Atalanta have made it 5-1 against Young Boys!

22:12 CET - After the worst spell of Pep Guardiola's tenure, City seem to finally be over the hump as they add a third against Feyenoord! It is a lovely move from the hosts and a perfect ball across goal is put away by the inevitable Erling Haaland after sliding in at the back post.

22:10 CET - Sporting have pulled one back in Lisbon through centre-back Goncalo Inacio to give them some hope of a comeback.

21:47 CET - It has been one of Arsenal's best halves of the season, and to make it even sweeter, Gabriel Magalhaes has headed home from a Declan Rice corner to put them 3-0 up right on the stroke of half time at Sporting Lisbon. The Gunners are in dreamland.

21:45 CET - After five consecutive losses, Manchester City have scored a much-needed goal. Erling Haaland has scored from the penalty spot to put the English champions 1-0 up against Feyenoord. He is now the quickest player to reach 50 Champions League goal involvements.

21:39 CET - Atalanta have scored two quick goals to go 4-1 up against Young Boys and put themselves in a really comfortable position.

21:30 CET - Leverkusen are in cruise control against Salzburg, with Wirtz grabbing his second of the game for the German champions.

21:28 CET - An own goal has put Inter Milan up against Leipzig, while Atalanta have retaken the lead at Young Boys courtesy of Charles De Ketelaere.

16:30 CET - International football is over and the Champions League is back uninterrupted until the league phase conclusion in January! And here at Flashscore, we are excited to be back covering the biggest competition in the world.

There is plenty to look forward to later tonight as Bayern Munich host PSG and Manchester City look to bring an end to their calamitous run. However, first and foremost we have our customary two early kick-offs to look forward to from 18:45 CET.

Atletico Madrid will be hoping for three points after a mixed first half to the league stage and they travel to Sparta Prague in one of the two early matches.

The other early game sees the league's bottom side Slovan Bratislava take on European giants AC Milan who are currently in 20th place and amongst the sides in a playoff spot.

Chances are you’re about to lose.
