The Washington Commanders will be without starting quarterback Jayden Daniels (knee) and their No. 1 wide receiver Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) for their matchup on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.

It'll be the second straight week without Daniels. Washington will go with backup quarterback Marcus Mariota, who led the Commanders to a 41-24 win over the Las Vegas Raiders last week.

Daniels has thrown for 433 yards and three touchdowns on a 59.7% completion percentage through the first two games this season. He has also put up 85 yards on 18 attempts running the ball.

McLaurin has posted 149 yards on 10 receptions through the first three games this season, with his single-game high in yards (74) coming during last week's game when Mariota was the quarterback.

The veteran wide receiver signed a three-year contract extension this offseason, worth up to $96 million with a $30 million signing bonus.

Washington's game against the Falcons (-1.5) will kick off on Sunday, September 28th at 1:00 p.m. Eastern (19:00 CET).
