Tampa's nine points are the fewest they've scored all season - also the fewest points the Lions' defence has allowed.
It's also the first time this season that the Bucs have scored less than 20 points.
Detroit's win came off a major game from running back Jahmyr Gibbs, who posted a total of 218 yards (136 rushing) and two touchdowns.
First Half
The first half of the game was all Detroit as they put up 275 total yards, 14 points, 11 first downs, and forced two turnovers (fumble + interception stripped from the receiver).
Quarterback Jared Goff put up 183 total yards on 12-of-17 passing, including the games first touchdown to wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, and an interception before the half.
Goff finished the game 20-of-29 with 243 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
St. Brown fininshed with 86 receptions on a team-leading six receptions with a touchdown - he was the only receiver to have more than three targets (10)
Running back Jahmyr Gibbs had 107 yards and one touchdown in the first half alone after a 78 yard touchdown run.
On the opposite side, Tampa was held to just four first downs and 58 total yards on 11:10 of possesion.
Star wide receiver Mike Evans went down before halftime and was later ruled out for the game with both a concussion and shoulder injury - he has now been diagnosed with a broken collarbone and is likely to miss the rest of the season.
Their two highlights came when YaYa Diaby stripped sack Goff for a turnover and Jamel Dean picked off Goff right after the Lions picked off Baker Mayfield.
Unfortunately for Tampa Bay, they failed to do anything with the ball after the first turnover, but were able to put up their first three points after Dean's interception thanks to a 53-yard field goal from Chase McLaughlin.
Second Half
The second half wasn't much action other than a couple of scores.
After driving down the field, rookie wide receiver Tez Johnson caught a screen pass for a touchdown to cut the lead to 14-9. The Bucs would fail to convert a two-point conversion attempt.
But in Lions style, they responding with a touchdown of their own to go up 21-9.
Gibbs capped off a 73-yard, four-minute drive with his second rushing touchdown of the game.
The Bucs had a drive where they went down the field, but turned it over on fourth and eighth.
Detroit ended up making a field goal to put them up 24-9 and that's all they needed for some extra insurance at the end of the game.
The Bucs would finish the game with 251 total yards and 15 first downs in 28:21 time of possesion.
Both teams were called for six penalties each, while both also recorded four sacks each and forced two turnovers each.
