The Atlanta Falcons fired assistant defensive line coach LaTroy Lewis on Friday after he was accused of rape in an original report by Justin Spiro.

Lewis' firing comes after disturbing messages were revealed that he sent to the alleged victim, saying he would "f--- up" and "murder" the woman in an onslaught of messages. The incident occurred when Lewis was a coach at the University of Michigan during the 2023-2024 season.

In the extremely disturbing report by Spiro on X (read it here), Lewis assaulted the same woman so brutally in another separate incident that the neighbors called the cops on him.

The Falcons said they have no further statement at this time after firing Lewis.

The victim had previously reported the assault to then University of Michigan head coach Sherron Moore, who not only dismissed it and began to harass and sexually assault her himself, but he also gave Lewis a raise after her report.

Moore was fired last year after the investigation and was arrested on charges of breaking & entering and stalking. He also threatened his own life near the time of his arrest.

Both were coaches under former head coach, and now Los Angeles Chargers head coach, Jim Harbaugh.

Lewis was a former college player turned pro who only played in two NFL games in 2017 - he recorded three tackles.
