The club football season returns after the final international break of the season, and quite simply, it is business time from here on out. The final two months of the season are here as the run-in begins for title favourites, survival hopefuls and everyone in-between. It is do-or-die time across Europe.

Saturday's highlights:

• Manchester City host Premier League holders and big rivals Liverpool in the first FA Cup quarter-final for an Easter Saturday lunchtime treat before Chelsea host Port Vale at 18:15 CET and finally Southampton take on league leaders Arsenal at 21:00 CET

• Runaway Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich travel to Freiburg to headline the afternoon games before third-place Stuttgart take on second-place Borussia Dortmund in a crucial game for Stuttgart in their hunt for Champions League qualification

• In LaLiga, Mallorca host title challengers Real Madrid in the afternoon before Atletico Madrid take on rivals Barcelona as the league leaders look to return with a crucial win in Madrid

• Finally, in Ligue 1, surprise title challengers Lens face a tough test away at Lille in the Derby de Nord in the final match of the day in France
