16:45 CET - Liverpool lead! Florian Wirtz has put them ahead with a lovely strike, shortly after some lovely work from Hugo Ekitike. Liverpool's summer signings are really starting to deliver now.

16:33 CET - The floodgates have opened in England, where Joao Pedro has put Chelsea 1-0 up against Brentford and Sunderland are drawing 1-1 with Crystal Palace after quickfire goals.

15:29 CET - A superb afternoon for Manchester United and Michael Carrick, as the Red Devils secure a richly deserved 2-0 triumph over rivals Manchester City at a raucous Old Trafford.

Second-half goals from Bryan Mbeumo and Patrick Dorgu proved to be the difference, lifting United up to fourth in the Premier League. As for City, they lose further ground in the title race.
