Helena Elver was taken to the hospital with a potential elbow injury during Gyor's victory over DVSC Schaeffler, and the extent of the injury is now to be determined.

The Danish playmaker suffered a blow to her arm during Gyor's comfortable 39-22 win over DVSC Schaeffler and received treatment on the court for a long time, while teammates gathered around her, concerned, before she was helped off the court to great applause.

Helena Elver was subsequently taken to the hospital, and the preliminary reports from Hungary point to an elbow injury. The extent is yet to be definitively determined, but the incident put a damper on the celebrations in the arena.

The injury came at a stage where Gyor was in solid control, but the episode changed the mood as the focus shifted from the result to Elver's condition, and her absence became noticeable for the rest of the first half.

Helena Elver received treatment for a long time on the court, was driven to the hospital, and there is now concern that she could be out for an extended period of time.
