Christina Pedersen, who was suspended and later laid off in Viborg after falling out with the rest of the squad, will continue her career with the former Norwegian Champions League winners, Larvik

Larvik states that the 24-year-old Pedersen has signed a two-year deal with the club.

The playmaker has been Viborg's leading scorer in the league for two successive seasons, but leading up to the start of the season, there were reports of unrest in the squad.

Christina Pedersen had allegedly been suspended because her teammates did not want to train with her. According to information from Ekstra Bladet, it was accusations of outright bullying that caused the other teammates to refuse to train with Christina Pedersen.

In addition to the team's high profile, Viborg said goodbye to head coach Ole Bitsch, who left the club after the turbulent period.

Now Pedersen is looking forward to a new challenge.

"I'm really excited. It's going to be both exciting and a little scary. It's been going by so fast, and I'm a little nervous."

"I've never been so far away from my family. But they've promised to visit often, and I'm looking forward to it. Larvik is a big club, and I'm looking forward to seeing what I can contribute", says Christina Pedersen.

In Larvik, compatriot Lene Rantala is part of the coaching staff.

The club was previously one of the biggest in Europe and won the Champions League in 2011.

Larvik then ran into financial problems and was forcibly relegated to the 1st division. But the team has fought back and last season reached the semi-finals in the top division.
