There were only two goals when first met second in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) this evening, but they both went the way of challengers Rogle, beating Frolunda 2-0 to go top and end the Gothenburg side's long winning run.

Frolunda had won seven in a row in all competitions before tonight, though Rogle were unbeaten since the sides met at the Scandinavium earlier this month.

Proof of the home side's credentials came in the fourteenth minute when Calvin de Haan and Daniel Zaar combined well in the attacking zone to set up Filip Johansson in the centre.

The second period was the only one when the hosts had the better of the shot count, and they took advantage in the final five minutes when they won possession back in Frolunda territory, allowing Anton Bengtsson to set up Dennis Everberg for a simple finish.

In the final 20 minutes, Frolunda had nine efforts on the Rogle goal, but Christoffer Rifalk was equal to all of them, and the 20 in total he faced as he recorded a memorable shutout in the 2-0 victory.

It's five wins in a row now for the Angelholm side, who go a point clear at the top, though they have played a game more than their bruised opponents.

Shutouts are commonplace now for Skelleftea, who secured their second in a row to beat Lulea 3-0 and remain in third place. Strauss Mann recorded 22 saves and has now gone over two hours without conceding.

Just as on Saturday, the round saw a trio of shutouts, with Leksand's Jakob Hellsten making 19 stops as his side won 3-0 at home to Malmo to end a run of six without a win, as the Redhawks' own winless run extends to eight matches.

A Philip Holm goal in the first minute of overtime saw Djurgarden beat Vaxjo 3-2 and move up to fourth, above the Lakers. Sixth and seventh have also swapped places in the table after Timra got the better of Farjestad, 2-1, away from home.

A quick start helped Brynas to a 3-2 success over Orebro which sees last year's regular season champions climb back into the top 10, while there was a rare win for HV 71, who won 3-2 away at Linkoping but stay bottom, a Linkoping drop two places to 12th.
