Thomas Bryant (27) is heading to the Indiana Pacers after the Miami Heat traded him in a second-round pick swap on Friday.

The Heat will receive a more favorable second-round pick in the upcoming draft while the Pacers receive Bryant and the Heat's second-round pick.

Bryant joined the Heat last season, averaging just 5.7 points and 3.7 rebounds per game coming off of the bench. He hasn't been productive in the lone 10 games he's played for Miami this year, averaging just 4.1 points and 3.2 rebounds on 11.5 minutes per game.

The currently agreed-upon deal will not go through until Sunday when Bryant becomes trade-eligible. Bryant provides the Pacers with a solid backup center after both Isaiah Jackson and James Wiseman went down after tearing their Achilles tendons.

This will now mark Bryant's fifth team in nine years. He is currently on a one-year, $2.8 million contract and is set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
