Los Angeles Angels right fielder Jo Adell donated his glove to the National Baseball Hall of Fame after robbing three home runs during Saturday's game against the Seattle Mariners.

Since 1995, over 70,000 games have been played across the MLB. That matchup between the Mariners and Angels was the only one to feature three home run robberies between both teams, and Adell, 27, had all of them.

Some are calling it the greatest single-game defensive performance by an MLB player in the game's history.

His first robbery game against Cal Raleigh in the top of the first inning. The second wouldn't come until way later in the eighth inning when he robbed Josh Naylor in almost the exact same spot.

It wouldn't be until the top of the 9th inning, when the Angels were up 1-0, that Adell would rob J.P. Crawford for his third of the night, striking an iconic pose for what will undoubtedly become one of the best photos of the entire 2026 season.

His defensive effort saved the game for the Angels as they went on to win 1-0.

Adell is coming off a career year for the Angels. His 152 games played were the most he's ever put up in a single season, missing just 10 games. The former 10th overall pick in the 2017 MLB Draft batted a career-best .236 (min. 100 games) with 37 home runs and 98 RBI.

His batting average is already up for this season as he's hitting a solid .262 with one home run and six RBI through 11 games.

The Angels are 6-5 and sit atop the American League West division heading into the April 7th matchup against the Atlanta Braves.

Chances are you’re about to lose.
