Stowers, 28, left the team's Spring Training game against the Houston Astros with a hamstring injury that has now been diagnosed as a Grade 1 strain.
The lefty had his big breakout season with the Marlins in 2025 after being dealt by the Baltimore Orioles in a trade deal in 2024. This past season, Stowers earned his first All-Star selection and finished with a .288 batting average, 25 home runs, 73 RBI, and a .912 OPS in 111 games.
Stowers was on his way to putting up the best numbers of any hitter in baseball, but his season ended in August after suffering a left oblique strain.
The Marlins will open up their season on March 27th against the Colorado Rockies.
