The NFL Wild Card round continues after a pair of thrillers on Saturday and our experts are here to give their picks!

In the first Wild Card game, the Los Angeles Rams came back in the final minute of the game to defeat the Carolina Panthers 34-31

During the second game, it was yet another comeback victory for the Chicago Bears as they took down their long-hated rival Green Bay Packers 31-27

Quarterback Caleb Williams connected with wide receiver D.J. Moore for the go-ahead touchdown, which eventually won them the game. The same duo that lifted the Bears over the Packers in overtime during the regular season.

Chicago was down 21-3 at the start of the third quarter and scored 25 of the 31 points in the fourth.

Giving the NFL fans the best start humanly possible to the playoffs, let's take a look at today's slate of games and who our experts picked!

Sunday will showcase the following games:

No. 6 Buffalo Bills @ No. 3 Jacksonville Jaguars

No. 6 San Francisco 49ers @ No. 3 Philadelphia Eagles

No. 7 Los Angeles Chargers @ No. 2 New England Patriots

Monday will feature the No. 5 Pittsburgh Steelers and No. 4 Houston Texans.

Experts picks

Bills @ Jaguars

Paul (regular season champion): Jaguars 28-27 Bills

I've liked the Jaguars a lot ever since their terrible London game. Trevor Lawrence is playing the best ball of his career, and as much as there is to love about Josh Allen, I think Lawrence is better right now.

The Jags are on a tear, and I'm giving them the edge. It’s going to be an unfortunate first-round exit in what was not a stellar year for the Bills - give me Johnny Mundt’s Jaguars!

Eric (2nd place): Jaguars 30-19 Bills

Some may not want to admit it, but the Jaguars are heading into these playoffs looking like the best team in football. They caught fire at the perfect time.

After defeating the Denver Broncos, the No. 1 team at home this season, in Mile High, there's just a lot of doubt around a Bills teams right now that hasn't been what they've looked like in previous seasons.

James Cook is the best running back in the league this year. Now, he's going up against the No. 1 rushing defence in the NFL. I just think the latter will prove to be the reason why Jacksonville advances here.

Not to mention the Jaguars have forced the second-most turnovers of any team this season.

Miguel (3rd place): Bills 35-29 Jaguars

Jacksonville’s season has been incredible so far. Unfortunately, they have been drawn against one of the toughest opponents possible in these playoffs.

In this case, I give Buffalo the edge due to their greater recent playoff experience. Allen was on an MVP trajectory at one point this season and he goes into this game with much more playoff experience than opposing QB Trevor Lawrence.

Henri (4th place): Bills 35-21 Jaguars

The Jaguars have performed brilliantly this season, but I doubt Josh Allen will pass up the chance to have the run of his life in these playoffs without Patrick Mahomes as his rival.

Buffalo may not have the record or the hot streak, but they've been here before. They know what it takes to move on to the next round.

49ers @ Eagles

Paul: Eagles Eagles 31-20 49ers

If there's a moment to flip a switch on offense, it’s now for the Eagles. The 49ers' defence isn't any good, and while their offense is, they have to score 35+ to make up for the defence.

I don't see that happening against this stout Eagles unit.

Give me Tank Bigsby’s Eagles!

Eric: 49ers 27-23 Eagles

Only three teams were better than the 49ers on the road this season - the New England Patriots (8-0) and the Seattle Seahawks (8-1).

Despite the Eagles having the better defence, their offence has seen better days. And how do you win? Score more points than the other team.

It has the makings of a great matchup. The Eagles key is to keep the turnovers to a minimum like they've done all season. But that 49ers offence put up at least 25 points in seven of their last nine games.

I'm going San Fran with the 'upset' here.

Miguel: 49ers 18-14 Eagles

For me, this is the most exciting matchup of this round of the playoffs. A sensational offence like that of the 49ers is going to prove to be a challenge, even for the reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles.

My soft spot for Christian McCaffrey makes me lean towards thinking that San Francisco will manage to break through and advance to the Divisional Round.

Henri: 49ers 23-17 Eagles

The Eagles have repeatedly shown in the second half of the season that they are definitely beatable, while the 49ers have continued to grow together.

I see San Francisco winning in the end, carried to victory by CMC.

Chargers @ Patriots

Paul: Chargers 24-20 Patriots

Drake Maye had an MVP-calibre season (though I think Matthew Stafford is the deserved winner), but I'm still not 100% convinced about the Patriots in games against winning teams.

It's a game between a bad defensive line and a terrible offensive line - the worst in the league in pass protection rates.

Justin Herbert elevates this team to fantastic levels, and he's going to produce the upset.

Give me Scott Matlock’s Chargers!

Eric: Patriots 26-17 Chargers

This game has upset potential written all over it. But I think the Patriots get it done in the end.

Despite how much of a threat the Chargers can be, even with one of the worst offensive lines in football (mainly due to injuries), the Patriots boast the No. 4 scoring defence in the NFL.

Los Angeles is ranked ninth in the same category. But at home? In Foxborough? In the cold? I'm taking MVP-candidate Drake Maye to show why he's a candidate in the first place.

Miguel: Patriots 32-21 Chargers

From my point of view, I think the Patriots have a clear advantage in this matchup.

I believe they are the best team in the NFL, despite their playoff rank, and will easily beat the Chargers, who would surely have preferred to face a different opponent in a different environment (preferably warm).

Herbert is a beast, but so are Maye and the Patriots.

Henri: Patriots 38-10 Chargers

The Patriots are my favourites to win the Super Bowl, and that's exactly how they'll want to play today.

Los Angeles should quickly become dizzy from the great football that Drake “Drake Maye” Maye and his boys bring to the field, ultimately booking their first playoff victory with ease.

Steeelers @ Texans

Paul: Texans 20-12 Steelers

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I see these Texans making it all the way to the Super Bowl in Santa Clara. This defence is impeccable, and we say defences win championships, don't we?

Aaron Rodgers has a clear and undeniable advantage in playoff situations, but I'm backing my Super Bowl dark horses and the hottest team in the league, riding a nine-game win streak.

Give me Jaylin Noel’s Texans!

Eric: Texans 26-9 Steelers

The win over the Baltimore Ravens only delayed the inevitable for the Steelers. Yes, they'll be getting back D.K. Metcalf. But unlike the Ravens, the Texans only need four guys to get to the quarterback.

They're one of the best defences in modern history. The stats prove it. The film shows it. And all C.J. Stroud and the offence have to do is not screw up.

Houston's defence will handle the rest.

Miguel: Steelers 24-19 Texans

The Texans’ season has been one for the books. They will have the chance to qualify for the Divisional Round for the third straight season in front of their fans.

However, they will face Aaron Rodgers and Mike Tomlin’s Steelers, who are experienced in a thousand battles like this one. In this case, I believe that the experience of Pittsburgh’s leaders will prevail over Houston.

Henri: Steelers 20-17 Texans

This will probably be the most exciting game of the Wild Card round, and I believe that the Steelers will actually win in the end with the upset.

The “near-death experience” against the Baltimore Ravens should have given Aaron Rodgers extra motivation to make what could be his last attempt to reach one more Super Bowl.

Chances are you’re about to lose.
