Edmonton Oilers superstar Leon Draisaitl left Sunday's matchup against the Nashville Predators after the first period, while Toronto's Bo Groulx had his first multi-goal game in the team's win over the Minnesota Wild.

Oilers 3-1 Predators

Before exiting the game after the first period, Draisaitl put his Oilers up 1-0 with his 35th goal of the season off of Connor McDavid's 75th assist.

McDavid, who led all players with an 8.2 rating, would go on to record an assist on all three goals for the Oilers. He leads the league with 114 points (37 points, 77 assists) as Edmonton improved to 33-26-9.

The Preds fell to 29-28-9.

Maple Leafs 4-2 Wild

Groulx scored his second and third goals of the season, ironically the second and third goals of the game, putting his Leafs up 3-0 in the second period for his first career multi-goal game. He finished with a 7.8 player rating in the game.

The center, who made his NHL debut during the 2021-2022 season, had only scored two goals in four years (68 games) prior to Sunday's game against the Wild.

Toronto improved to 29-27-17, while the Wild dropped to 38-18-12.

Kraken 6-2 Panthers

Six players on the Kraken recorded at least two points each, with  Kaapo Kakko leading the way with three (one goal, two assists). Jamie Oleksiak finished with a season-high 8.3 player rating - the highest of any skater in the game as well.

Seattle scored four unanswered goals as they improved 31-26-9, while the Panthers' three-game win streak was snapped as they fell to 33-30-3.

Ducks 4-3 Canadiens

Leo Carlsson, who finished a stellar 8.9 player rating, put the Ducks up 2-0 with his 22nd and 23rd goals of the season before the Habs would score three straight of their own to retake the lead.

Troy Terry would score his 14th goal of the season in his return from injury to tie it up before Cutter Gauthier (34) would send home the eventual game-winner with under three minutes left in the game.

Anaheim improved to 37-27-3, while the Habs fell to 36-20-10.

Senators 7-4 Sharks

Ottawa would find themselves down 3-2 halfway through the second period. But Ottawa would score five of the game's next six goals to improve to 34-23-9.

Six different players on the Sens had two points, while Drake Batherson led the way with two goals - his 26th and 27th on the year - and Fabian Zetterlund had an 8.3 player rating.

San Jose fell to 32-27-6.

Jets 3-2 Blues

The Jets found themselves having to hold off a late third-period rally from the Blues, having gone up 2-0.

Kyle Connor (31) scored the third goal for the Jets after St. Louis' Dalibor Dvorsky (10) made it 2-1, but they closed things down and improved to 28-28-10.

St. Louis fell to 27-30-10.
