Olympics hockey tournament schedule: Quarter-finals, semi-finals, finals

Spectators will no doubt flock to the Milano Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena in Milan on Wednesday as four anticipated quarter-final clashes are in store as the Winter Olympics head into the decisive matches of the tournament. 12.10 CET - Slovakia - Germany

Slovakia, the surprise winner of Group C, will be looking to continue their impressive run at the tournament with a victory in their first quarterfinal match. They will face Germany, who had to secure their spot with a win in the round of 16 against France.

16.40 CET - Canada - Czech Republic

2024 World Champions Czech Republic, will seek to get revenge against Team Canada after a humiliating 5-0 defeat in the opening group matches at the Winter Olympics. Canada’s dominant run through the group stage confirmed their status as deserved favorites for the gold.

18.10 CET - Finland - Switzerland

Finland advanced directly to the quarterfinals as they had the best record of the second-placed team in the group stages of the tournament, and will now face Switzerland, who had to play an additional round of 16 match against Italy, where they booked a comfortable 3-0 win.

21.10 CET - Sweden - USA

The USA is unbeaten so far in the Olympic tournament, as they won all three games in the preliminary round and outscored their opponents 16-5 to win their group, while Sweden needed to win against Latvia (5-1) in the round of 16 to proceed to the quarter-final.

Semi-finals: 

The winner of Canada vs. Czech Republic will face the winner of Sweden vs. USA in one of the semi-finals. The other semi-final will see the winner of Finland vs. Switzerland clash with the winner of Slovakia vs. Germany. Both semi-finals will be played on Friday, February 20th. One semi-final will be played at 16.40 CET, while the other one will go ahead at 21.10 CET

Bronze medal match: 

Scheduled for Saturday, February 21st at 20.40 CET

Final:

To be played on Sunday, February 22nd at 14.10 CET
