GK: Joshua Smits - Adelaide United (8.0)

The Dutchman faced nine Brisbane Roar shots on target and stopped seven of them, with his efforts proving to be instrumental.

LB: Walter Scott - Macarthur FC (8.6)

The Bulls hit Melbourne City for six at the weekend and two of the six were set up by centre back Walter Scott, who landed a game-high three crosses and won all three aerial duels at the back as part of his 8.6 rating.

CB: Anthony Pantazopoulos - Western Sydney Wanderers (7.8)

Pantazopoulos regularly appears in our Team of the Week as one of the Wanderers' most consistent performers, rating 7.7+ in five of his last nine games. The 22-year-old recorded three interceptions and five clearances and a game-high eight accurate long passes.

CB: Joe Shaughnessy - Newcastle Jets (7.9)

Joe Shaughness made our Team of the Week last week when rating 8.9 thanks to a match-opening goal, and he's back in again courtesy of registering more accurate passes (59) than anyone else on the pitch, at an accuracy of 89%, as well as 0.48 expected assists (xA). That's some very effective ball movement.

RB: Joel Bertolissio - Newcastle Jets (7.8)

The 22-year-old is a solid, no-nonsense wing back who has featured in our Team of the Week on multiple occasions this season, this time assisting the Jets' fourth goal of the weekend in addition to passing with a stellar 95% accuracy!

LM: Lachlan Bayliss - Newcastle Jets (8.3)

"The time to show who you are is definitely now, because a World Cup is just around the corner," said Jets head coach Mark Milligan after Lachlan Bayliss scored within the first 30 seconds of their 4-1 demolitoon job of Wellington.

CM: Luke Brattan - Macarthur FC (9.4)

Brattan finished 2024/25 in an excellent manner and had a couple of good early season ACL 2 performances for the Bulls before tailing off, but produced a great shift against his former club.

CM: Juan Mata - Melbourne Victory (8.9)

It's now well and truly beyond doubt that Juan Mata is being far better utilised at AAMI Park than he was at the Wanderers under Alen Stajcic.

The 37-year-old has amassed seven assists in his last seven appearances and has no issues whatsoever with being at his energetic best deep into the second half of every round, showcasing his longevity on Monday by setting up three second half goals in their Big Blue rout of Sydney FC.

RM: Jesse Randall - Auckland FC (7.7)

Auckland got the lead twice in their draw with the Mariners at the weekend, continuing his excellent personal form that has seen him score or assist in five of his last seven appearances.

FW: Mitch Duke - Macarthur FC (8.6)

With an assist off the bench last week and a goal as a starter this week, Socceroo Mitch Duke is already beginning to live up to the hype his signing brought to Macarthur.

FW: Brody Burkitt - Adelaide United (9.5*)

Reds boss Airton Andrioli said he "couldn’t wait to find a way of giving an opportunity" to 19-year-old Brody Burkitt after three years of knowing him as an underage NPL player, and Burkitt delivered with a hat-trick off the bench in just his second top-flight appearance.
