Goalkeeper

Ugurcan Cakir (Galatasaray) - 8.9

Cakir was kept extremely busy in the Galatasaray goal across both legs as the Turkish side eventually bowed out at the hands of Liverpool.

He kept a clean sheet as Gala narrowly won the first game then made 11 stops in the reverse at Anfield, but Liverpool's prowess still proved too much.

Defenders

Josip Stanisic (Bayern Munich) - 8.6

Croatia's Stanisic came away with a goal and an assist as Bayern Munich made a statement with a 10-2 aggregate thrashing of Atalanta.

He opened the scoring in the 6-1 away beating with a tap-in and recorded the helper for Harry Kane at the Allianz Arena.

Malo Gusto (Chelsea) - 7.7

Despite Chelsea suffering an 8-2 aggregate battering from PSG, Gusto had a decent impact in the Paris first leg.

The Frenchman squeezed in Chelsea's first equaliser at the Parc des Princes, but missed out on the second leg through illness.

Goncalo Inacio (Sporting) - 8.2

Portugal defender Inacio came alive for Sporting with a top second-leg display as they staged a stunning 5-0 comeback to end Bodo/Glimt's fairytale run.

The 24-year-old headed in the opener to begin the turnaround, while no other player completed more than his 112 passes in the second leg.

Maximiliano Araujo (Sporting) - 9.5

Inacio's Sporting teammate Araujo returned to the side for the Lisbon second leg and put his stamp on the match in his 110 minutes of play.

The Uruguay international created three big chances and nudged Sporting into a decisive lead early on in extra time.

Midfielders

Michael Olise (Bayern Munich) - 10

Olise did all the damage to Atalanta in the first leg in Bergamo with a devastating attacking display, which saw him record two goals and an assist.

Both strikes were identical, trademark cuts inside, but an additional yellow card would rule him out of the second meeting and prevent him from more.

Lennart Karl (Bayern Munich) - 9.0

Slotting in Olise's place was 18-year-old talent Karl, who chipped in offensively himself with a goal and an assist in Munich.

Karl rolled in Bayern's third of the night into the corner for his fourth Champions League goal of the campaign.

Xavi Simons (Tottenham) - 9.3

Simons starred for Tottenham as they beat Atletico Madrid 3-2 in the home second leg, although it wasn't enough as they exited 7-5 on aggregate.

The Dutchman netted twice in north London – his first being the pick of them with a whipped finish into the corner from outside the box.

Luis Diaz (Bayern Munich) - 9.2

Colombian star Diaz was a menace across both games for Bayern with a goal and two assists for Vincent Kompany's free-scoring side.

Diaz's highlight moment was his goal in the second leg as he raced away and lifted a cheeky effort over the onrushing Atalanta goalkeeper.

Forwards

Julian Alvarez (Atletico Madrid) - 8.8

Alvarez's attacking mastery came to full fruition with three goals and two assists across both legs to power Atletico past Spurs.

The Argentina star was a thorn in Spurs' side and capped off two excellent performances with a rifled strike in London to extend Atletico's aggregate lead.

Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) - 9.2

The mercurial Kane netted twice for Bayern against Atalanta, bringing up a 50th career Champions League goal in some style.

The England captain needed just the second leg to do so, scoring a penalty and crafting himself a world-class second to hit the milestone on his 66th appearance.
