With the score at 2-0 in the 88th minute, PEC Zwolle manager Henry van der Vegt handed Pereira da Gama his debut as the replacement for midfielder Jamiro Monteiro.
With his 15 years and 243 days, Jadiel Pereira da Gama became the youngest player in Eredivisie history, replacing former FC Volendam winger Wim Kras, who set the record in 1959 at the age of 15 years and 290 days.
In his five minutes of playing time, Pereira da Gama, who was born on December 12th, 2009, recorded two touches and one completed pass in PEC Zwolle's 2-0 win away at Telstar.
