Bodo/Glimt Kjetil Knutsen believes that his side's sensational ticket to the semi-finals of the Europa League could be a milestone for Norwegian football in the future.

Glimt coach Kjetil Knutsen went through a roller coaster ride of emotions during the game and could hardly believe, that his men from the Arctic circle managed to pull off one of the biggest surprises in the tournament.

"This match was so demanding in itself. It was so up and down and for us to come back was absolutely insane. The fact that we decided the match in our favor says a lot about our mentality. It's so damn nice for Glimt and Norwegian football. It illustrates that it is possible for everyone", said a touched Knutsen to Viaplay after the match

"I haven't been able to reflect on it, but of course I am touched and proud. There are many feelings that cannot be put into words. This team is built on players who didn't do so well until a certain point, and then we became an unbelievably good side", said Knutsen to NRK and the rest of the press in Rome.

Knutsen believes Norwegian football should take inspiration from what they have achieved at Bodo/Glimt.

"I hope we are an example for all other teams. If we can do it, so can others. We showed ourselves on the international arena, and more people will come to play here. It will be a milestone for Norwegian football", said Knutsen.

Bodo/Glimt will face Tottenham in the first leg of the semifinal in London on 1 May. The return leg will be in Norway on 8 May.
