Getafe coach Jose Bordalas and Rayo Vallecano's Inigo Perez are both being discussed inside Selhurst Park.
Bordalas is in his second stint at Getafe and his contract expires at the end of this season.
Perez, meanwhile, stepped up at Rayo after Andoni Iraola left for Bournemouth.
Iraola wanted his former Rayo assistant to follow him to the Cherries, but Perez was blocked due to work permit difficulties. Rayo subsequently appointed him as Iraola's successor, where he has since impressed.
