Swiss forward Dan Ndoye has moved to Nottingham Forest after having a fine last season in Serie A. The English club beat off competition from Napoli for his signature.

Dan Ndoye is officially a Nottingham Forest player. The English club, which had overtaken Napoli in recent days with a reported €40 million offer to Bologna, finalised the deal.

Forest announced the signing of the 24-year-old Swiss forward on a five-year contract on social media.

'I'm really happy to have signed for Nottingham," said Ndoye, who scored the winning goal in the Italian Cup final last season.

"It's a really exciting time at Forest and I immediately realised I wanted to be part of the project. It's a really ambitious team with a fantastic history, and I can't wait to get started."
