Manchester City are likely to listen to offers for Omar Marmoush this summer as the club evolves ahead of next season.

The Egyptian forward joined City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 in a deal worth around £59 million, but his long-term future at the Etihad Stadium is uncertain.

Marmoush made 21 Premier League appearances last season, although only eight of those came as starts.

He finished the campaign with three goals and three assists and even though he has not pushed to leave, it is felt he would like to establish himself as a regular starter somewhere.

With Pep Guardiola now gone, and Enzo Maresca anticipated to be named as his replacement in the coming days, City are entering a new era - and a number of players face uncertain futures.

Sources indicate that the club would be open to discussing Marmoush’s departure should a suitable offer arrive. City would ideally look to recoup the majority, if not all, of the fee they paid to sign him.

The player himself is understood to be keen on playing a more prominent role at this stage of his career.

At 27, Marmoush is approaching his peak years and may be reluctant to spend another season competing for limited opportunities in a squad packed with attacking talent.

Interest in the forward is already beginning to emerge. Tottenham previously enquired about Marmoush when they were also tracking Savinho, and the North London club are believed to retain an admiration for his versatility and attacking qualities.

Aston Villa are also among his admirers and would be interested in exploring a potential move. Villa's participation in next season’s Champions League could prove an attractive proposition for a player seeking both regular football and European competition.

Elsewhere, Atletico Madrid have been linked with Marmoush as they assess potential replacements should Julian Alvarez depart. Alvarez has attracted interest from both Barcelona and Arsenal, which could force Atletico into the market for another forward.

Barca have also been mentioned as a potential landing spot for Marmoush.

The recent arrival of Antoine Semenyo has further increased competition for places in City's attack and impacted Marmoush's role.

With the squad expected to continue evolving during the summer transfer window, Marmoush could find himself pushed further down the pecking order, making a departure a possibility.
