Anthony Gordon could have three potential landing spots in the Premier League if he ends up leaving Newcastle United at the end of the season.

The England international provided a reminder of his quality with four goals in the Champions League win over Qarabag on Wednesday night, highlighting his importance to Newcastle’s attacking plans.

However, despite his growing influence at St James’ Park, questions remain about his long-term future on Tyneside.

Newcastle have shown no desire to part ways with the winger, and he is insisting he will not pay attention to any gossip, but interest from rival clubs persists.

Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool are all understood to be monitoring the situation closely ahead of the summer window, and the Anfield club are believed to be 24-year-old Gordon’s preferred destination should he move on.

With uncertainty surrounding Mohamed Salah’s future at Anfield and the club potentially preparing to reshape their forward line, Gordon has emerged as a player of interest.

However, any deal would be complicated. Newcastle were reluctant sellers when Liverpool signed Alexander Isak last summer, and they would be even less inclined to strengthen a direct rival again.

That dynamic could open the door for other suitors. A move to London may prove more palatable for Newcastle than allowing another key asset to join Liverpool.

Arsenal are actively seeking a versatile forward with a proven Premier League pedigree.

Gordon’s ability to operate both centrally and from the left flank would offer Mikel Arteta valuable tactical flexibility, making him an attractive option for the Gunners.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have tracked Gordon since his days at Everton and continue to admire his development.

The Blues have struggled to find consistent solutions in wide areas and are expected to prioritise a winger in the summer market.

Gordon’s name has been discussed internally at Stamford Bridge, and there is a genuine belief that he would fit the club’s evolving attacking structure.

For now, Newcastle remain determined to keep hold of one of their most influential players.

He does not have any release clause, and, after losing Isak last year, there is a determination to prove they are not going to lose another of their best players.

It is believed he would hold a value of at least £80million, but with elite interest building and the summer window approaching, a battle for Gordon’s signature could yet unfold.
