Liverpool boss Arne Slot is set to have talks with Mohamed Salah as he ponders his future.

The Egyptian winger claimed Liverpool had thrown him "under the bus" following the Reds' 3-3 draw with Leeds United on Saturday, which led to him being left out of the squad to face Inter Milan on Tuesday night.

Salah's outburst came after he was left on the bench for a third successive Premier League game as Slot reworks his side and tries to find  a solution to their dire form, which may start to turn after their 1-0 over Inter.

The Mirror report that Slot is set to hold talks with Salah as “sides from the Saudi Pro League and MLS circling his signature.”

The Report also states that Al HilalAl Qadisah and Neom are all interested, while US outfits San Diego and Chicago Fire are also closing in on his signature.

It is now five days since Salah gave the interview that made countless headlines over the last week and there has been no update from him or the club, minus his absence from the Champions League squad.

When he was pressed on whether Salah had played his final game for Liverpool, Slot said: "I have no clue, I cannot answer that question in this moment in time."

Earlier this week, Slot suggested that Salah should be the one to apologise to him rather than the other way around, as fans wait for updates on what is an intense situation.

"Everyone makes mistakes in life, but does the player think he's made a mistake. The next question is, should the initiative come from him or me? That's another question to answer."
